Step 1: The first step in designing adventures is to make a connection graph, by building and connecting nodes. This can be accomplished by following the tables on this page: Adventure Design, Table of Tables. Simply continue creating nodes and relationships until you feel you need to stop.
Step 2: Each node will require a general theme. These can be generated using any system, but one way is to roll them up using a random campaign book. These are located here: Campaign Notes, Random Book.
Step 3: Any place, where one node has the possibility of leading to multiple nodes, the connection leads to tension which can be determined through the tables on this page: Encounter Design, Connection Graph
